How to Log a Workset

Worksets are a unique feature within PLT4M strength programs. The goal of a workset is to assess your performance that day for a specific lift and to make a subsequent adjustment to your working max. Using Worksets frequently allows a more accurate working max and better overall training results. Let's take a look at how it works.

To log a Workset:

  1. Within your workout, a workset will appear as a standalone set. In the image below, there are 4 "normal" sets, and then a "workset." This means in total, you would perform 5 sets, logging your final set as the workset.
  2. Once you complete your Workset, click the Log Workset button. This will bring up a pop-up where you can record how many reps you successfully performed.

  1. Log your reps and click Save worksetBased on your input, you will see one of three messages, below. This will let you know if your max went up 5 Lbs, stayed the same, or went down 5 Lbs.
