How to Log a Workset
Worksets are a unique feature within PLT4M strength programs. The goal of a workset is to assess your performance that day for a specific lift and to make a subsequent adjustment to your working max. Using Worksets frequently allows a more accurate working max and better overall training results. Let's take a look at how it works.
To log a Workset:
- Within your workout, a workset will appear as a standalone set. In the image below, there are 4 "normal" sets, and then a "workset." This means in total, you would perform 5 sets, logging your final set as the workset.
- Once you complete your Workset, click the Log Workset button. This will bring up a pop-up where you can record how many reps you successfully performed.
- Log your reps and click Save workset. Based on your input, you will see one of three messages, below. This will let you know if your max went up 5 Lbs, stayed the same, or went down 5 Lbs.
