Pause a Workout

What Is the "Stop Workout" button?

When you enter a Workout, you should begin the training session by hitting "Start Workout". This starts your workout session, including the timer that will record your session length (how long you worked out for). Below, you can see the "Start Workout" button that would appear in the top right of your workout screen.

Once selected, the session begins and "Start Workout" changes to "Stop Workout".

When Should I use "Stop Workout" and How Does it Work?

The "Stop" button will actually STOP your current session, ending the Time Stamp and marking your exercise completion wherever you are. So if you did 4/9 exercises in 20 minutes and hit "Stop Workout", you will have a "Session 1" showing "4/9 in 20 minutes". You can then come back to this workout at anytime and begin again. This will start a NEW session, with a new time stamp.

Therefore, you should ONLY use "Stop Workout" if you will be stopping for an extended period of time, for example, to eat dinner, to go do another activity, or because your class time ran out. You should NOT use "Stop" if you are going to the bathroom, or simply performing the prescribed exercise.

In the image below, we can see the student has completed 4 exercises:

If they need to stop the workout, they would choose "Stop Workout". This ends the session and records the progress, as shown below:

In your Workout Menu, this training day will show how much of the workout you have done:

To Resume the workout, simply choose the day as you normally would, hit "Start Workout" and perform as desired. Once completed, you will see a message showing your Total Exercise progress, and your time stamp from your current session:

To see how the sessions were recorded, and how your teacher or coach will see them, go to your Workout Tab and choose the "History" tab:

Here, you will be able to see your sessions as they were recorded, on an individual session basis:
