How to Log a Workset

"Worksets" are a unique feature within PLT4M strength programs. The goal of worksets is to assess your performance that day for a specific lift and to make a subsequent adjustment to your working max. Using Worksets frequently allows a more accurate working max and better overall training results. Let's take a look at how it works.

Step 1: Once in your Workout, a Workset will appear as a stand alone set. In the image below, there are 5 "normal" sets, and then a "workset". This means in total, you would perform 6 sets, logging your final set as the workset.

Step 2: Once you complete your Workset, click the "Log Workset" button. This will bring up a pop-up where you can record how many reps you successfully performed.

Step 3: Log your reps and hit Confirm. Based on the number of reps you achieve out of the prescribed number, you will see a message similar to the one below. This will let you know if your max went up 5 Lbs, stayed the same, or went down 5 Lbs.
